September 2019 Case of the Month
To change or not to change; that is the question. In our first ever case of the month, we’ll be using Qi Men Forecasting in order to find out what is the outcome for a potential career change!
This month, we’ll examine a Qi Men forecast for a person who is at a crossroad in his career. The asker in this case wanted to know which is better; remaining at his current job or look for greener pasture? With the help of Qi Men Dun Jia forecasting, let’s examine what’s on the table for this person based on a chart that was forecasted on 10:05AM, 20th of August 2019.
We first have to examine the North Palace where the Open Door is contained. This palace will give us an insight on the asker’s current job. With the presence of the Heavenly Assistant, it is likely a job where he can gain a lot of knowledge and experience. However, the remuneration is just mediocre. Also, the growth factor in this job is somewhat slow. On top of that, examining the stems of this Palace also reveals that his relationship with his colleagues are not favourable as there seem to be a lot of petty people in the office as denoted by the Ren and Bing combination.
It is likely for these reasons that asker is job hunting at the moment. In fact, this is evident in the chart as the North Palace actually produces the Day Palace in the Southeast which represents the asker. At the present, he is still negotiating as represented on the chart by the Six Harmony deity and Harm Door. Now that we have looked at the present and the asker’s situation, let’s take a look at the possible outcome.
The potential job in this chart is represented by the East Palace where the Life Door resides. This is because that it is the Envoy – otherwise known as Lead Door – in this chart. The new job is likely to take a lot of the asker’s time and effort; long hours are pretty much guaranteed. Also, the nature of this company would also be highly political as represented in the palace by the Heavenly Grain. The good news however is that the asker would be able to thrive in it.
Overall, the asker is considering the offer seriously. Not only the asker’s palace and the job offer palace is the same element, it is also at 6 and 7 stars respectively. While it would not change his financial status very much as the Wu Stem representing money counters the asker’s palace, it will increase his opportunities, network circle and status.
