For the first post of November, we are pleased to bring to you an article about the Great Moon 太陰, the Deity of Blessings and the guardian of knowledge.
One of the 10 Deities in Qi Men Dun Jia, the Great Moon is associated with knowledge and secrets, as well as blessings and happy events. Just like the ever-changing moon, the Great Moon carries qualities associated with femininity as well as a degree of ambiguity.
People under the influence of this Deity are usually calm, independent and gentle, like the soft moonlight in a quiet night. However, they can also have the propensity of doing things stealthily and a tendency of mood swings, just like the many phases the moon goes through.
The Great Moon is seen as the governor of the virtues and vices that we receive from our ancestors, and is the god of infinite knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, people who have the Great Moon as their Guardian Deity usually have the key to access vast knowledge and generally feel the responsibility to spread their knowledge.
With the Great Moon, you have the access to secret knowledge, secret formulas, knowledge that could help people and information that could change the world.
