Searching for Lost Item

March 2021 Case of the Month

This month we take a look at how to forecast your chances of finding that item you have lost or misplaced, using QiMen Dun Jia. It could help you to decide whether you should keep on looking or just accept your loss.

Everyone has experienced losing their personal belongings at one time or another. If we’re lucky, we get to find the lost item or have it returned to us by a kind hearted Samaritan. If we’re unlucky, we never get to see that precious belonging again.
The worst thing is not the fact that we are unable to find the lost item but the need to keep looking because of the lingering hope we will find it in the end. Hope is good but it can also be daunting as well especially when it is time to give up. Knowing when to give up helps a lot and QiMen Forecasting can do that for you.
Case in point, a Ms. A who three months or so back, discovered she may have ‘misplaced’ her pearl earrings. Although it is not exactly the too expensive type, it is of great sentimental value to her. Ms. A decided to use QiMen Forecasting to help her decide whether to keep looking for the earrings or to forget about ever finding them. This is the QiMen Forecasting chart Ms. A plotted on March 14, 2020, 9.30am.
When forecasting on the outcome of a lost item using QiMen Forecasting, there are two important components we usually focused on. They are the Hour Stem of the QiMen chart and the Day Stem of the Qi Men chart.
The Hour Stem represents the missing item and the Day Stem represents the owner of the missing item. By observing the location of these two stems in the QiMen chart and their interaction with one another, we can predict the outcome for the search of said item.
In the QiMen chart plotted by Ms. A, the Hour Stem (the Gui stem) resides in the Kan palace. The Kan palace is a Water element palace and the Gui stem is also of the Water element. Thus, the Gui stem in the Kan palace can be designated as being ‘timely’.
Next, we look at where the Day Stem (the Bing stem) is located. In this QiMen chart plotted by Ms. A, the Bing stem is located within the Xun palace. The Xun palace is a Wood element place.
This means the Hour Stem palace (the Kan palace) which is of the Water element, produces the Day Stem palace (the Xun palace) which is of the Wood element. A timely Hour Stem palace which reinforces the Day Stem palace is an auspicious forecast when searching for a missing item.
It denotes a fruitful result for the search effort provided the owner begins his or her search immediately. Also, such a structure advises that the search be conducted in the owner’s house first for it holds a better chance of finding the missing item.
Furthermore, the nine palaces in a QiMen chart can be used in the forecasting to represent the item one is looking for. The Kan palace represents crystal, pearl or writing materials that have gone missing.
Since the Kan palace happens to be where the Hour Stem of the chart resides and the Hour Stem signifies the missing item; we can determine the degree of accuracy for this forecast because Ms. A is missing her pearl earrings.
So, what do you think of Ms. A’s case? Are there any questions, suggestions or further insights you could derive from the QiMen chart? Feel free to leave a comment in the Comments section below.
Until next time, I do hope you enjoy this case study and appreciate the forecasting power of QiMen Dun Jia in predicting the outcome of the search for one’s missing item. It could come in handy for you if you find yourself accidentally misplacing one of your personal belongings one day.
