Ms. D is getting ready for a date night to celebrate the MCO progressing to the ‘Recovery’ stage. Ms. D is quite attractive and outgoing, attracting a fair number of suitors. For this date night there are three guys who are free and available.
Unable to decide who she should go out with, Ms. D plotted the QiMen Forecasting chart above to help herself arrive at a decision.
Ms. D as the Asker is represented by the Day stem of the chart (Gui). Thus, the Qian palace is the focal palace for Ms. D to compare with the other palaces representing the three suitors and decide who is most compatible with her.
From the Qian palace, we can deduce Ms. D is a sensitive and demanding person when it comes to love because of the Death Door. However, this is well-balanced by the Gui stem being countered by the Wu stem indicating stability and the cutting back of the negative aspects of her character. The Chief deity and the Heavenly Grain star both indicate Ms. D as a loyal person who would make a perfect spouse.
Now we observe the three suitors from which Ms. D is supposed to choose one to go out with.
SUITOR 1
The first suitor is represented by the Hour stem palace of the QiMen chart. The Hour stem palace is the Gen palace. The Open Door in this palace is an indication that this guy is a courageous and dedicated partner. This suitor may also click with Ms. D because he is a little demanding as well.
The other components in the Gen palace are positive indications as well. The Great Moon deity indicates that this individual is shy, soft-spoken and polite. Likewise, the Heavenly Heart star indicates that he is attracted to fun, outgoing women which makes him a good match for Ms. D.
The Gen palace itself produces the Qian palace indicating that this guy is a great support and pillar of strength for Ms. D in her hour of need.
SUITOR 2
To determine the second suitor’s palace and so on, we need to fly the stars with Suitor 1’s palace as the focal point in a Luo Shu path. If this is too complicated for you, just refer to the number at the bottom right corner of the box representing each palace.
The Gen palace is number 9. This means the palace representing Suitor 2 is the Li palace which is number 1. The Harm Door and Heavenly Destructor star in this palace indicates someone who has commitment issues and puts personal freedom above everything else.
The Red Phoenix deity also implies this person is a sweet talker but not very trustworthy when he is involved in a relationship. He is also insecure and may have a short temper.
SUITOR 3
The palace representing Suitor 3 is the Kan palace. The Fear Door in this palace shows that this person is very loyal, responsible and devoted to a fault.
However, Ms. D should exercise some caution because the Surging Snake deity and the Heavenly Pillar both imply that this guy is very controlling, prone to jealousy and very insecure.
And with the Qian palace producing the Kan palace, if Ms. D commits to a long-term relationship with this guy, she may be constantly put under his thumb and may not experience true happiness.
In a nutshell, the QiMen Forecasting result indicates that if Ms. D is looking to develop this date into a long-term relationship she can do no worse than Suitor number 1. If she is only looking for a fun night with no long-term commitment for both parties, then either Suitor 2 or Suitor 3 would fit the bill depending on her taste.
