Education is Great, but Knowledge is Better

Forecasting the Right School or Academic Centre for Your Children

All parents are concerned about their children, in particular their education. It’s the accepted standard in all societies that a good education guarantees a bright future. Our article this week takes a look at how QiMen can be used to forecast the right school or academic centre for your kids.

The Value of Education

Since it was determined that information is the new power, education has become an important commodity as it is the best gateway to information access.

Education needed to start somewhere and who better than the young. With the young there is more time to educate and more time to nurture them into the informative adult who can thrive in this world whilst sculpting their way to a bright future.

Thus, the best education for their children has become every parents’ main investment, so much so that it has become some sort of a competitive one up to find the place that can offer the best education.

Choosing the Right Place

Sometimes, choosing the right school or academic centre for a child can be quite a dilemma for the parents. The competitiveness between parents has the trickling effect in which schools and academic centers have joined in to take advantage of the commercial side of the business.

How many schools or academic centers do we see nowadays that have the temerity of advertising themselves as the best? And how as parents, do we choose which is the actual best school that can provide the needed education for our kids?

In this regard, QiMen Dun Jia can really help to make the best decision for parents who simply want just the best for their children. All you need to do is to plot a QiMen Forecasting chart and take a look at the two key components or Useful Gods and their interaction in the chart.

The two key components you will need to study are the Heavenly Assistant Star and the Heavenly Grain Star. The Heavenly Assistant Star represents the Teacher. The Heavenly Grain Star is usually associated with health problems, but in the aspect of education it can represent the Student. To make this easier to understand, let us look at several examples below.

Example 1:

The QiMen Chart shows the Heavenly Grain Star in the Gen艮 Palace and the Heavenly Assistant Star in the Qian乾 palace. The Gen palace is of the Earth element and the Qian Palace is of the Metal element.

This means the Heavenly Grain Star in this chart produces the Heavenly Assistant Star. This indicates that students in this academic center are dedicated to their studies and tend to be very respectful of their teachers. This produces academic competitiveness and excellence. The students here will push each other to greater heights and the quality of the institution helps to nurture the students’ natural talents.

A QiMen Chart in which the Heavenly Assistant Star produces the Heavenly Grain Star also indicates a great academic center or institution but here it is the teachers who are dedicated in discharging their duties. They encourage the students to strive for more and are patient in educating their students and pay a great deal of attention to their welfare and development.

Example 2:

In the QiMen Chart above, the Heavenly Assistant Star is said to counter the Heavenly Grain Star (the Fire element of the Li離 Palace counters the Metal element of the Dui兌 palace). This is indicative of an academic center whose teachers are overly strict. They will exert a great deal of control over their students and will most likely discourage their students from forming their own ideas.

On the other hand, if the QiMen chart finds the Heavenly Grain Star countering the Heavenly Assistant Star, it will be the students in this center or institution who are the source of the problem. They will be prone to disciplinary issues and despite their best efforts, the teachers at the institution will not be able to control the behaviour of their students resulting in an environment unfavourable for studies.

So, what do you think about using QiMen Dun Jia for the purpose of forecasting the right school or academic centre? Does it pique your interest to apply this method for yourself? This might turn out to be an invaluable tool for you in developing the future of your children. We would certainly like to hear from you regarding this week’s article. Any feedbacks or questions, just drop us a comment below.

In closing, we would like to wish all of you with school-going children all the best with schools and educational institutions set to reopen soon.
