Beating this Health Condition

What are my chances of recovering?

While we are still talking about the Covid-19 pandemic, here’s another article regarding Qi Men Dun Jia and your health. Specifically, the chances of recovery from a serious illness.

Ailments Common and Serious
It is time for another heath article. Health has been the main topic on our mind with this once in a lifetime pandemic that doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon.
We have minor health ailments like the common cold and sore throat. And then there’s the more serious condition such as those that affect the organs as well as the dreaded big C itself.
For the common ones, it’s just a matter of going to the clinic, taking the medications given and have plenty of fluid and rest. Unfortunately, it is not that easy if you or someone you know are the unlucky ones to have been diagnosed with a more serious health condition.
Standing a Chance
A serious health condition needs more specific care and treatment. More often than not, it may lead to a prolonged stay in the hospital. Scientific and technological advancement in the medical field throughout the past decades have seen better survival rate in terms of serious health issues.
However, there are still no guarantees after a surgical procedure or other treatment methods, whether a patient will make a full recovery. It is sometimes still a touch-and-go game.
In this instance, QiMen Forecasting can help to predict the chances of recovery for an individual from a serious health condition.
Example 1:
When forecasting the chance of recovery for someone with a serious health issue, one way of looking at the chart is to focus on the Day Stem (which represents the patient) as well as the Life Door and the Death Door (which represents the chances for recovery).
In the chart above, the Day Stem (the Yi stem) is located in the palace of the Life Door. This is an auspicious forecast which denotes the patient has high recovery chances. He or she will survive the ailment and make a full recovery. Things may not look promising currently because of the Great Moon deity and the two negative formations.
But things will improve as treatment progresses because of the Day Stem’s location in this palace, the Heavenly Pillar star which indicates healing and rejuvenation, and the two positive formations which balanced out the negative formations in the palace.
From the same chart, find the Heavenly Grain palace. This palace represents the health ailment. In the chart it is the Dui palace. The Heavenly Stem in the Dui palace is the Xin stem. Now you have to find out if there are any Heavenly Stem in the other palaces which counters the Xin Stem. As it turns out, the Heavenly Stem in the Kan palace (the Bing stem) counters the Xin stem (Fire counters Metal). This shows that there is a chance for the patient to recover.
The Kan palace is located on the Internal Plate of the chart whilst the Dui palace is located on the External Plate. This signifies that although the recovery chances are high, it will take quite some time. This supports our earlier forecast which implies that things may not look encouraging in the beginning but will gradually improve as treatment progresses until the patient makes a full recovery.
On the flip side of things, you may get a Qi Men Forecast chart like the one below for a patient who happens to be a child:
Example 2:
For a child patient, we look at the Hour Stem as our focus point. In this chart, the Hour Stem (the Ren stem) is located in the Death Door palace. This is a highly inauspicious forecast which denotes the ailment will lead to a fatal outcome. It is a lingering disease that will make the patient suffer for some time before the final outcome. A highly undesirable chart.
Of course, we would like to remind you never to replace a qualified doctor or physician with the result of a Qi Men Forecasting. Qi Men Forecasting is meant as an alternative opinion. There may be other unforeseen factors such as the development of a new cure or treatment method that may be outside the scope of the asker’s question when he or she plotted the forecasting chart.
So, it is always best to refer back to the doctor or specialist in charge before making any informed decision.
As always if you have any questions or things you would like to share, feel free to drop them in the Comment Box below. In closing, we would like to wish all of you the best of health and stay strong as we pull through this difficult time together.
