The case study of the month for December is all about overcoming personal obstacles. A QiMen Destiny Chart contains multiple facets of one’s life, one of which is called the Obstruction Palace. This Palace is defined by the Palace that counters your Destiny Palace’s element. This Palace represents the biggest challenge you have to overcome throughout the course of your life.

Natalie wants to know what is the biggest obstructions in her life according to QiMen Destiny Analysis. The chart below is her QiMen Destiny Chart based on her time of birth on 28th September, 1992, 3:27AM.

As indicated by the chart, her Destiny Palace is in the East, the Zhen Palace. As the Zhen Gua is Wood element, what counters Wood would be the Dui and Qian Palaces which lies in the West and Northwest respectively; both of which are Metal Element. These two palaces represent her Wealth Palace as defined by the Life Door, her Risk Palace as defined by the Harm Door and the Education Palace as defined by the Heavenly Assistant star.

When examining the Qian Palace, Natalie’s Risk Palace and Education Palace, it can be surmised that she does not do well with risks. As the overall configuration of this palace looks good, it can be surmised that while she’s in a good position to take risks, there’s a constant mental block that stops her from taking leaps of faith. Besides that, she also struggles in terms of formal education.
As for the Dui Palace, the Wealth Palace, it is quite likely that Natalie struggles in terms of financial management. The big picture for this palace is represented by its hexagram, Lesser Exceeding. The exact issue here is nothing major; it’s just that all the poor choices when it comes to money would eventually add up and becomes a real problem.
So, what can Natalie do about this? By being aware of these Obstruction Palaces, she can now take the necessary steps to remedy them. She can be more fiscally responsible and adhering to a higher standard when it comes to her finances and perhaps focus more on hands-on learning instead of a more academically-inclined lessons.
Everyone has one or two Obstruction Palace in their Destiny Chart. To be the best version of yourself, it’s just something that you have to learn how to overcome. Hope you’ll find this month’s case study to be insightful. What’s your Obstruction Palace? How do you think it affects your life? Leave your thoughts and comments below!
