This month we help a reader to assess a piece of land he is interested in acquiring and yet have some reservations at the same time; by using Qi Men Forecasting. You’ll be surprised what Qi Men Dun Jia can find out about an empty piece of land. Stay tuned.
Mr. Lam’s lifelong dream is to build a house of his own. Working towards this goal, Mr. Lam has been on a hunt for a suitable piece of land. Recently, Mr. Lam came across a piece of land that fits his criteria. He managed to inspect the land with the current owner before the MCO was announced.
During the MCO period, Mr. Lam has had ample of time to decide on whether to acquire the piece of land. He really likes what he saw but there is a small lingering doubt at the back of his mind. Mr. Lam is not sure whether this is a valid suspicion or just a product of an over-suspicious mind. In the end, Mr. Lam decided to use Qi Men Forecasting to help him solve this dilemma. This is the Qi Men Forecasting chart Mr. Lam plotted on April 24, 2020, 7.30pm.
When assessing a piece land using QiMen Forecasting, the Useful God we look for is the Death Door. In this chart, the Death Door resides in the Kan 坎 palace. Therefore, this palace will be the focal point of the assessment.
We can also see the Moon Deity in the Kan 坎 palace. This deity represents secrecy and concealment. This suggests that there may indeed be a hidden issue with the land as Mr. Lam has suspected.
The location of the entire Kan palace in the QiMen chart’s Internal Plate points to the source of the issue being ‘internal’; which is highly indicative that it might be something within the soil or underground.
The main star for the palace is the Heavenly Pillar star. This star is generally regarded as an inauspicious star. When taken from a geographical point of view, the Heavenly Pillar star represents the imagery of pools, marshes or lakes. This indicates that the problem with the land may be connected to the water element.
The Kan palace also contains the Geng stem and the Gui stem. The Geng stem happens to be the Hour Stem for this QiMen chart. In QiMen Forecasting, the Hour Stem can also represent the property or land.
The Geng stem and the Gui stem form a highly inauspicious formation known as the Big Structure or Da Ge formation. This results in the weakening of the Geng stem because Geng represents the Metal element and Gui represents the water element. Again, water!
We can make an educated assumption based on the information gathered from the QiMen Forecasting chart that the land Mr. Lam intends to acquire has a deep-seated and well-concealed issue which may have to do with water seepage underneath the land. The foundation of the land may have been severely weakened by this issue.
One final assessment we can make from the QiMen Forecasting chart is by looking at the Chief palace. The Chief deity represents the buyer (Mr. Lam). In this chart, the Chief palace actually produces the Kan palace (the palace representing the land). This indicates that both the buyer and the seller may be embroiled in legal issues if the deal is to go forward.
In this case, it is better for Mr. Lam to forego the acquisition of this land and wait for another much better opportunity.
So, what do you think of Mr. Lam’s case? Are there any questions, suggestions or further insights you could derive from the QiMen chart? Feel free to leave a comment in the Comments section below.
Until next time, I do hope you enjoy this case study and appreciate the forecasting power of Qi Men Dun Jia when done correctly.
