Finding Your Unique Selling Point

By definition, a unique selling point is a factor that differentiates you from your competitors. Do you know what yours might be?

If you’re a business owner or someone who wishes to start their own business one day, what would be your unique selling point? By definition, a unique selling point is a factor that differentiates you from your competitors; be it the highest quality, the lowest price or simply the first product/service of its kind. Do you know what yours might be?
In today’s market that’s oversaturated with advertisements and competitors, it’s not easy to grab the attention of the consumers. Not only do you have to let them understand the value of your offer, you also have to ensure that they can’t find the same thing from anyone else. This in turn would allow your business to grow attract more customers to your business.
If you still haven’t figured it out yet, take out a QiMen Chart and do a QiMen Forecast. Ask yourself “What is my unique selling point?” and take a look at the Yi, Bing and Ding Earthly Stems. In Qi Men Dun Jia, these three stems are also known as the Three Nobles. In general, they are considered auspicious and are able to turn a negative situation into a positive one.
Once you have your QiMen Chart ready, look which palaces that contains Yi, Bing Ding in the Earthly Stems and see the Doors that resides there. To have a better understanding of this, let’s take a look at a sample chart:
In this particular chart, the Three Nobles are found in the Earthly Stems of the North Palace, the Northeast Palace and the South Palace. The Doors there are Rest Door, Scenery Door and Life Door. If you happen to have these Doors when you forecasted, go with these angles when trying to sell your product or service:
Rest Door: Comfort/Healing
Focus on how your product or service can alleviate a problem faced by the consumer.
Scenery Door: Image
Focus on how your product or service can boost your consumer’s image and influence.
Life Door: Meaning/wealth-based
Focus on how your product or service can give more meaning or fulfilment to the consumers. Alternatively, how it may help to increase their profits.
As each business is unique, finding your own unique selling point is very much a subjective endeavour. With a little help from QiMen Forecasting however, we hope you would be able to deliver the best value to your respective market and get the results that you want!
