Securing Deals with Forecasting and Strategic Execution

January 2020 Case of the Month
To kick-off 2020 in high spirit, we have a submission from one of our QiMen Tribe members on QiMen Forecasting!
Happy new year everyone! To kick-off 2020 in high spirit, we have a submission from one of our QiMen Tribe members on QiMen Forecasting!
Let’s hear it from Annie on how she successfully used Forecasting in order to secure a very important deal. Hopefully, we can all learn from this case study and that we are able to make better decisions in this new year.
According to Annie, obtaining a deal with this client is extremely crucial for her and her husband. A day prior to this was the final presentation of their paperwork to a board of directors that had no less than 30 people. Trying to convince a room of people is indeed a daunting task, let alone when it’s an outcome you really want to happen!
So, Annie decided to plot a QiMen Chart on 1st January, 2020 at 3PM and this was the chart:
As 1st January was a Gui Mao day, the Day Palace is in the South. As Annie had learned recently, the Useful God or focus point of the deal is represented by the Life Door which is currently residing in the Southeast. The Southeast is the Xun Palace which is Wood element while South is Li Palace which is Fire element; in short, the deal was producing them.
Besides that, Annie also noticed that the Southeast also contained the Heavenly Ambassador. She remembers that this star is extremely auspicious for business dealings and it is essentially handed to her. With everything aligned her way, the only advice she had to give her husband is simply present as they had prepared.
To give him an extra edge in securing the deal, Annie also recommended her husband to use Strategic Execution by having his back facing Southeast. This would also help in terms of making him appear more trustworthy to the board of directors as well as being more confident and capable; just a few things that helps when you are backing the Life Door.
3 hours later, the meeting was a raving success. The board of directors took their ideas wholesale and now they are interested in long term engagements. Besides that, they had also requested additional services on top of what they were originally proposing. At the end of the day, Annie not only secured one deal, but two!
Once again, thank you Annie for submitting this case study and inspired us with how you used Qi Men Dun Jia to enhance your life. We also hope that this has been beneficial to the readers as well!
