Can this property be sold

July 2020 Case of the Month
This time, a woman asks if she is able to sell her property and what challenges she might be facing in the process.
For this month, we’ll be doing another forecast case study. This time, a woman asks if she is able to sell her property and what challenges she might be facing in the process. This is the Qi Men chart she plots on Dec 6, 2017, 5.27 p.m. As far as forecasting for property goes, the Chief deity is considered to be the Useful God that represents the owner of the asset. As such, the asker is represented by the East palace.
The outcome box on the other hand is determined by the Hour Stem which is Ji Earth and it is located in the North Palace. As we can see, the North Palace is Water element and the East Palace is Wood element. As the outcome box produces the asker’s box, the answer for her first question is yes, she would be able to sell her property.
However, let’s examine in further detail. The Hexagram formed by the outcome box is Lesser Exceeding 雷山小過, which means although she won’t have any problem in selling the property, it might be sold at a much lesser price than she would otherwise have expected. This is further supported by the fact that the asker palace is countering the NE palace which houses the Wu Earth Heavenly stem which represents capital in QiMen forecasting. There is also Harm Door in the palace which indicates loss in value.
When examining the Life Door palace which represents the property itself, there are some things that can be noticed. The Great Moon deity, among other things, can represent hidden issues or blind spots. Another way to look at it is to examine the formation which would indicate the condition of the property. The formation in this palace, Ji Earth with Xin Metal, is called Spirit Enter Graveyard. It’s an indication that something is flashy with no substance and only look good on the surface.
In other words, the property isn’t all that great to begin with and its value probably doesn’t match the asking price. As the asker box is under Death and Emptiness, it will be quite some time before she can come to terms with this fact and would be more willing to sell it off when that DE is fulfilled; either in March (Mao 卯 (Rabbit) month) when its filled up or in September (You 酉 (Rooster) month) when it’s clashed away.
What else can you observe from the chart? Is there anything you would like to add or ask? Leave your comments below.
Also, here’s a reminder that you can submit your own case study here for an opportunity to win an awesome prize and get your findings published!
