Robert Downey Junior is the man of the hour in Hollywood these days.
The charismatic actor is fresh off his 10 year Marvel contract where he played billionaire, playboy, genius Tony Stark – a character that the world fell in love with. RDJ, as he is fondly known to many, embodied the character of Stark acutely, that at times, there was little distinction of where Robert Downey ended and Tony Stark began. Just lately, Downey, mirroring the moves of his once character Tony Stark, announced to the world that he was channelling millions that he had earned into Footprint Coalition – an initiative that would use artificial intelligence (AI) that would help clean up mother earth. What a swell guy.
However, RDJ’s life hasn’t always been so awe inspiring and breezy. He is the living proof to the fact that you can fall into the deepest, darkest hole and come out better than when you went in. A look at his QiMen day constellation indicates that RDJ is a Void Life Path and he certainly lives up to this life path’s description.
Although successful a typical Void struggle with relationships and lack the skills needed to maintain relationships with others. They become estranged from family and can be observed to have a spate of ill luck. Their formative years are shaped sometimes by abuse, clashes and rifts with family. In their darkest hour, they turn to a life of crime and substance abuse. This very much personifies RDJ’s early life.
Downey lived a rather affluent life that went off the rails amid a severe heroin addiction in the 1990’s. His father was an actor himself and the duo have a very tumultuous relationship shaped by emotional abuse. Due to his poor life choices, Downey moved in and out of courts, detention centres and rehab. He was fired from roles he had been booked for and fell out of favour with producers and directors who refused to work with him.
The beacon of light for those to walk the Void life path is star Sadalsuud. Then star is well known to help find influence and rapport in every situation. Those under this stars’ influence have the capacity to recognise opportunity when it presents itself as well as the ability to land on their feet in the event of a crisis.
Downey credits the turning point of his life to his wife Susan. Much like most in this life path, Downey saw the beacon at the end of his dark tunnel and made that his focus. He has managed to pull himself out from the sludge pool he put himself in through sheer perseverance and hard work in the last 10 years, Downey has seen an inspirational comeback.
“I am Ironman”
Where once he was viewed as toxic, Downey now finds himself in a place where studios and directors are seeking him out. As Downey himself once said “Remember just because you hit bottom doesn’t mean you have to stay there”.
